What are the payment options?

With Mobile22, there are several ways for a rider to pay for their rides:
  1. From the Mobile22 app and website, riders can set-up credit cards to use when booking rides.
    1. When a ride is started, a Stripe pre-authorization will verify that the rider has enough funds to pay for the ride (fare + 20% of fare). If the authorization fails, the driver will receive a message about the issue detected.
  1. From the app and website, riders can also indicate Pay in Person where the driver manages the payment (by cash or credit card) at the end of the ride
    1. When the ride is complete, the driver will be prompted to add a tip amount (optional) and indicate whether cash or credit card will be used. The payment is then processed on a separate system.
  1. Certain accounts are able to also indicate invoice billing with proper authorization from the transportation provider and set-up through Mobile22.
    1. When the ride is complete, the driver will see the account name to be charged and can select "Charge Account" to complete the transaction
