10 - March - 2021 Release Notes (Version 1.4.0)


 

Reports

  • Graphical displays will now be provided for the following reports:
    • Ride data - Number of rides, % canceled and % no-load rides
    • Fare/Revenue data - Transportation provider revenue and average fare
    • Driver data - Revenue per hour for a driver type
    • For all 3 reports, timeframes can be specified where the defaulted values are:
      • Daily - summarized data per day for an entire week of the current week
      • Weekly - summarized data per week for the current week and the previous 12 weeks
      • Monthly - summarized data per month for the current month and previous 12 months
    • Excel data downloads will also be available for all 3 reports
  • For consistent terminology across multiple transportation providers, some labels changed:
    • Attendant (both Employee and Independent Contractor) and Bookings Report: "Green Bucks" was changed to to "Gift Certficate" and "SafeRider" was changed to "Voucher"

 

Call Center

  • In the ride view mode the correct rider payment method will now display.
  • Additional costs accumulated by running the wait time meter will appear in the completed ride details.
  • When a booking is originally made with card on file payment method, but if at the time of ride completion the payment is made with cash instead, the call center completed ride details will now display cash as the payment process.

Driver App

  • In order for multiple transportation providers to book hailed rides from the Driver App, the number of passengers has been increased to 6.
  • Additional costs accumulated by running the wait time meter will be included in the final fare.

Driver Management

  • A warning message will now appear if a new driver's email duplicates an existing driver's email when adding a new driver. A driver's email username must be unique within the platform.
  • Tips employee drivers earned from Bill to Account, card on file and pay in person cards over a single shift is now properly displaying in employee driver check-out.
  • The cash expected from an employee driver at the end of a single shift displaying in employee driver check-out will now exclude the amount received in Gift Cards/Green Bucks.
  • For consistent terminology across multiple transportation providers, some labels changed: 
    • Attendant (both Employee and Independent Contractor) and Bookings Report: "Green Bucks" was changed to to "Gift Certficate" and "SafeRider" was changed to "Voucher" 

 

Rider App

  • In order for multiple transportation providers to display their ride services on the Mobile22 rider app, some minor changes were made including:
    • The branding of the transportation provider was moved from the Ride screen to the Ride Service Options screen in association with the provider offering service.
    • The ETA will appear for On Demand rides only and will be associated with each ride service option displayed.
    • The number of passengers has increased to 6.
    • Support on the profile page will send users to Mobile22 Help Desk. 
    • Support for each ride in progress will be associated with the specific transportation provider providing the service.
    • For each scheduled ride, a phone icon will contact support of the specific transportation provider with which the booking was made.
    • For each scheduled ride, the transportation provider and ride service booked will display.
  • Until Mobile22 fully transitions over to managing multiple transportation providers in a single booking application, during signup onto the application the user will be asked to select one of the transportation providers from a dropdown list.

Vehicle Management

  • Line of Business has been added to Add New Vehicle, Vehicle Details and Vehicle Edit Mode as a single select required field. Only vehicles that match the line of business of the driver will be available for assignment at driver check-in.

 

Web Portal

  • In order for multiple transportation providers to display their ride services on the Mobile22 web portal, some minor changes were made including:
    • Booking a Ride is now a separate page from Booking a Delivery, see navigation links at the top of the page to navigate between the two choices.
    • The user needs to first select the pick-up and drop off locations, along with the number of passengers for a ride.
    • The number of passengers has increased to 6 and appears as a dropdown list.
    • There is a rearrangement of some items on the page such as rider/contact information now appears below ride information such as timing of the ride and accommodations. The payment area below the Select a Ride/Delivery Service is now where the user selects how to pay.
    • The Select a Ride Service options will display the provider offering the service.
    • The ETA will appear for On Demand rides only and will be associated with each ride service option displayed.
    • Support footer at the bottom of the page will send users to the Mobile22 Help Desk.
  • When signing up for an account in the web portal, a single username email can only be used for either a personal account or organizational account and not both. This allows the same username email to be used in the Rider App to view the same rides as seen in the Web Portal.
  • Until Mobile22 fully transitions over to managing multiple transportation providers in a single booking application, during signup onto the application the user will be asked to select one of the transportation providers from a dropdown list.
  • If a different name is entered when booking a ride that isn't the same as the one associated with the phone number or email of a known user, the name edit will remain upon booking. Likewise, if a phone number is entered when booking a ride that isn't the same as the one associated with the email of a known user, the phone number edit will remain upon booking.
